Jeremiah 29:7 TPT
“Work for the good of the city to which I have exiled you. And pray to Yahweh, asking for a blessing on your city since your peace depends on its peace.”
Between now and the end of the year, we are raising funds for some projects that we believe God is going to use to impact our city and orient our hearts to meet the needs of our neighbours.
These are the projects that He has put on our hearts:
God is doing amazing things through Westside Church to change people’s lives. We want to make sure that we can continue to fund the initiatives that are so effective in sharing Jesus with other people, as well as pursue some new ways to care for people in our city. In our Alpha groups, we are seeing people commit their lives to Jesus as they experience his presence. We’re looking forward to adding new groups to help people continue to grow in their faith, as well as equip people to face obstacles. We’ll be launching a CAP money course to help give people financial tools as well as Divorce Care for those who are grieving the loss of their marriage. We’re also launching outreach opportunities like our Crafternoon, Family Christmas Movie, and Christmas Eve services. These are some of our best opportunities to invite people to experience God through our Church!

The McMaster Food Collective aims to enhance food security and accessibility for students at McMaster University by providing affordable, nutritious food options and resources. Through initiatives like community meals, workshops, and sustainable food practices, it fosters a supportive environment that empowers students and addresses food insecurity on campus.
